Create new items instantly from anywhere in Dumbify using the Quick Add button.

What Is Quick Add

Quick Add is the blue β€œ+ Quick Add” button that appears at the top of every screen.
It opens a menu for creating new entries without leaving your current page.


How to Use Quick Add

  1. Click Quick Add in the upper toolbar.

  2. Choose what you want to create:

    • Event β€” Add a new calendar item.

    • Task β€” Create an action with a due date or priority.

    • Reminder β€” Set a timed notification for any activity.

    • Habit β€” Track a repeating behavior.

    • Goal β€” Set a measurable objective.

    • Contact β€” Add a person or record to your contact list.

  3. Fill out the required fields in the pop-up that appears.

  4. Click Save (or Add) to confirm.

  5. Your new item will appear in the appropriate section automatically.


Notes

  • Quick Add is always visible, no matter where you are in Dumbify.

  • You can use keyboard shortcuts (if enabled in Settings) to open it faster.

  • Quick Add respects your active workspace and syncs instantly to that context.
