Connecting Calendar Accounts
Learn how to link your Google or Outlook calendar to Dumbify so your events stay in sync automatically.

Add a Calendar Account
Navigate to Settings → Calendar Accounts.
Click Add Calendar Account.
Enter a Calendar Name and select a color for easier identification.
Choose your provider:
Google Calendar
Microsoft Outlook
Request a different calendar (to submit a feature request)
Set Up Tag Associations
Choose your Primary Tag — this determines the main sync source (e.g., Work or Personal).
Configure Tag Permissions for other categories:
All Details: Full visibility of events.
Title Only: Sync event titles only, hide details.
Blocked Time: Show event time as busy.
Ignore: Exclude from this calendar’s sync.
Click Next to continue.
Confirm and Connect
Review your Calendar Details and Tag Permissions.
Click Authorize Google or Authorize Outlook to begin secure sign-in.
Choose your account and grant permissions when prompted.
Once connected, your calendar will appear as Synced under Calendar Accounts.
Managing Linked Calendars
Sync Now: Manually refresh data at any time.
Active / Inactive: Temporarily disable syncing without removing the account.
Disconnect: Remove the integration.
Default Tag: Choose which tag to apply to imported events.
Notes
Events sync bi-directionally based on tag permissions.
Use Work or Personal as primary tags for best organization.
You can add multiple calendar accounts if needed.
