How It Works

Connecting a Calendar Account

  1. Go to Settings โ†’ Calendar Accounts.

  2. Click + Connect Calendar.

  3. Choose your provider (e.g., Google, Outlook, Apple).

  4. Follow the on-screen authentication steps to grant Dumbify access.

  5. Once connected, events from your external calendar will automatically appear in Dumbify.

Sync Behavior

  • Two-Way Sync โ€” Changes made in Dumbify update your external calendar, and vice versa.

  • Sync Frequency โ€” Dumbify syncs automatically in intervals; manual sync is available via the Refresh button.

  • New Events โ€” You can specify whether new events created in Dumbify should appear on your connected calendar.

Disconnecting a Calendar

  1. Go to Settings โ†’ Calendar Accounts.

  2. Click the Disconnect icon next to the account you want to remove.

  3. Confirm to stop syncing. (Your external calendar remains intact.)

Notes

  • Dumbify requires authentication for each connected calendar service.

  • If sync fails, verify your providerโ€™s permissions and reauthorize the connection.

  • Duplicate events may occur temporarily after reconnecting; these resolve automatically.

  • Calendar sync speed depends on provider API limits and connection stability.
