How It Works
Tracking Goal Progress
Each goal includes a Progress Bar that shows your overall completion percentage.
Progress updates automatically based on:
Linked Tasks β Completing tasks assigned to the goal increases progress.
Linked Habits β Habit formation percentages contribute to goal completion.
Manual Updates β You can adjust progress manually when no linked items exist.
Viewing Analytics
The Goals section and Dashboard display detailed goal metrics:
Completion % β Overall progress toward your defined target.
Linked Tasks & Habits β Displays which items are contributing.
Start and Due Dates β Shows the active timeframe.
Status β Displays Not Started, In Progress, Completed, or Cancelled.
These analytics help you stay focused on your objectives and measure tangible outcomes from your routines and projects.
Understanding Progress Calculations
Each linked task carries equal weight unless adjusted manually.
Completing or cancelling a linked task updates goal progress automatically.
Habits contribute based on their formation percentage (e.g., 50% complete = 50% contribution).
Manual adjustments are always available to fine-tune accuracy.
Notes
Goals update dynamically as linked tasks and habits are completed.
Manual overrides are supported for full control over progress tracking.
Additional analytics and historical data will be introduced in a future update.
