What Habits Are
Habits help you form repeatable behaviors and monitor streaks over time.
Each habit includes a frequency, start date, reminder, and visual color tag.
You can filter by frequency, status, or start date to track your progress.
How It Works
Adding a Habit
Click + Add Habit in the upper toolbar.
Complete the following fields:
Title β Name your habit.
Description β Add context or motivation (optional).
Frequency β Choose Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
Start Date β Select the date you want to begin tracking.
Reminder Time (optional) β Set a time for habit notifications.
Target Days β Defaults to 28 days (recommended for habit formation), but you can change this value to match your goal.
Tags β Categorize your habit for easier filtering.
Color β Choose a color to help visually identify the habit.
Click Create Habit to add it to your list.
After Creation
When your habit is created, a tracking card appears showing:
Progress Bar β Displays your completion percentage.
Tracking Calendar β Shows each day of your habit cycle and lets you mark completions.
Countdown β Indicates days remaining until your habit is formed, based on your Target Days.
Streak Tracker β Updates automatically as you complete scheduled days.
You can edit or delete a habit at any time from its card.
Viewing and Filtering Habits
Use the toolbar options to locate or organize habits:
Status Filter β Switch between Active and Completed.
Frequency Filter β View Daily, Weekly, or Monthly habits.
Sort Options β Sort by Start Date, Title, Streak, or Progress.
Show Archived β Toggle archived habits on or off.
Search β Locate specific habits by name.
Notes
The Target Days field controls how long the formation countdown lasts.
The Habits system supports streak tracking and daily completion visualization.
Data integrates with Dashboard and Reports for performance insights.
Some functionality is still under development and will be updated in a future release.
(Internal note: revisit this documentation once full habit analytics and reminder logic are operational.)
